How I made a Book Trailer for my graphic novel
After publishing “Nanyang A Graphic Novel” on Amazon, I started developing the next book in the trilogy. With the concept and a mockup completed I put the project on the back burner. When I was about to resume work by hand-drawing the old school way, as I have done with the first book, an emerging technology burst upon the creative world. Artificial Intelligence! The buzz was too loud to ignore, the mania infectious. Joining millions across the planet I soaked up the tutes from the pioneering experts, trying out various platforms and made generative content for posters, t-shirts and ads. Soon my attention returned to the graphic novel. After finishing a couple of chapters I thought it might be an idea to shout out the book with a teaser. The keyframes were generated on Leoardo AI. I started by sketching out the storyboard and proceeded with recording the VO using macOS builtin text-to-speech TextEdit.
