Front cover With the whole world still in the grip of AI mania , I have produced an AI-assisted fantasy adventure romance about the birth of the Merlion , Singapore 's most loved icon. It tells of a chance encounter between a lion and a mermaid on a beach in Singapore in a time of myths and legends. It was love at first sight. But their love was forbidden, and the lion had to embark on a perilous quest to win the heart of the mermaid. Love triumphed and soon a legend was born. The Merlion.  My journey began with outlining the story and feeding it into ChatGPT and prompting it to expand the story. It worked at light speed, spewing out the result in under two minutes. AI has taken the world by storm since the launch of ChatGPT and yours truly has also been swept up by the current. In the process I have tried ChatGPT for text composing, Dall-E 2 and Leonardo.AI for image generation, and will be poking around several others that do text to voice, text to video and other marvels of AI to get an overview of all the buzz and hype that has set the art world on fire.  Finally I settled down to do some real work and enlisted Leonardo to help out. After testing Leonardo, hereinafter Leon for short, on several quick projects I decided to prompt him to generate a picture of three koi fish.
